Two West Hartford juveniles arrested for early morning burglary

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — West Hartford Police are reporting that two juveniles have been arrested on three charges including burglary on early Sunday morning.

Lieutenant Eric Rocheleau of the West Hartford Training Division said at approximately 2:47 AM on Sunday, two juveniles were stopped by Officer Nicholas Sanford on Clifford Drive. Investigations revealed that the two had just burglarized an unlocked vehicle in the area, with a second burglary found a short time later.

Police said both suspects were on juvenile probation for larceny charges and were wearing GPS monitoring ankle bracelets. One had been previously arrested by the WHPD for previous vehicle burglary related charges.

The juveniles were each arrested and charged with burglary, larceny, and conspiracy charges and released to their guardians. Their identities have not been released and a court date has not been set.
