Hamden Police search for men who robbed teens at gunpoint

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH)– Police are looking for the two men who robbed two teens at gunpoint in Hamden on Saturday morning.

Police say at around 12:15 a.m., officers responded to Dixwell Avenue and Morse Street for the report of an armed street robbery. An investigation revealed that two 17-year-old victims were walking eastbound on Goodrich Street when they were approached by two men who demanded their belongings.

According to police, one of the suspects was in possession of a firearm. The suspects then stole the victims’ wallets and cellphones.

Police describe the suspects as black males in their thirties. One of the men was about 6’3″ tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
