North Windham woman charged with manslaughter for Ashford untimely death

TOLLAND, Conn. (WTNH) — A North Windham woman has turned herself in on an active arrest warrant for an untimely death dating back to September, 2016.

According to police, 46-year-old Jessica Hill and the victim of an untimely death went to the victim’s workplace on Sept. 8. Police say they took a bottle of morphine from the workplace and injected each other with the morphine at the victim’s house in Ashford before going to sleep.

Police say Hill left the victim’s house early the next morning, but returned after learning that the victim passed away.

Hill is facing a charge of manslaughter in the second degree. She was processed and released on a $50,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 11.
