Police say at around 3:40 p.m., troopers responded to Route 2 eastbound near exit 15 for a pedestrian walking on the highway.
Troopers found the pedestrian, 28-year-old Cara Baril, and after speaking with her, were able to determine that she was in possession of drugs. Police say Fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine, pure heroin, heroin bundles and drug paraphernalia were then found on Baril.
Baril was arrested and charged with Illegal Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and was released after posting $10,000 bond. She will appear in court on October 13th.
