Search and rescue in Old Saybrook suspended

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WTNH)–  Authorities have called off a search and rescue that began around 11:30 a.m. in the water off of Old Saybrook after an unmanned kayak was found Tuesday morning.

The Old Saybrook Fire Department tweeted a photo of the boat and kayak.

Old Saybrook Police tell News 8 that no one has been reported missing and at this time there is no reason to believe anyone is missing in the water.
