T-shirt predicts Sterling man’s arrest in Killingly

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH)– A Sterling man was arrested on DUI charges in Killingly Friday while wearing a “Beer+Beer = Shenanigans” t-shirt.

Police say 38-year-old Nathan Michael Corey was arrested just before 10 p.m. after failing a field sobriety test during a traffic stop on Route 6.

According to police, Corey did not initially stop when signaled by troopers to do so. He was also found to have marijuana, drug paraphernalia and weapons inside his car.

Corey was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to drive in proper lane, unsafe backing/movement of stopped/standing/parked motor vehicle, failure to have lights lit and device illuminated, use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and weapons in a vehicle.

Corey was held on a $10,000 bond and will be in court on October 3rd.
