OLD LYME, Conn. (WTNH) – Today, we’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to Old Lyme, home of the Florence Griswold Museum. The beautiful facility was the center of the Old Lyme Art Colony, the epicenter of development of American Impressionism.

In addition to the art, history, nature and exhibitions, this weekend families can experience a bit of “Neverland” at the 9th Annual Wee Faerie Village. This year’s theme is Faerieville, USA – hometown America.

So anything you’d think of being in a small, hometown (gas stations, churches, grocery stores, etc.) will be shrunken down to faerie-size dwellings. There will be over 30 hand-crafted faerie villages on display from artists across the Northeast.

The detailed creations are made by over 400 people – from school groups, artisans and enthusiasts.

Visit Faerieville, USA at the Florence Griswold Museum this weekend: 96 Lyme St, Old Lyme, CT 06371
