Capitol Report: Mark Davis talks state budget veto

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Last week, Governor Dannel Malloy used his veto power to strike down the Republican state budget plan.

The state continues to operate without a state budget, but the need for a new plan grows increasingly urgent as Oct. 10 quickly approaches.

News 8’s Chief Capitol Correspondent Mark Davis stopped by the studio to discuss the significance of the date and why Republicans will look to override the Governor’s veto.
