NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– Bullets were found in a bathroom of the L.W. Beecher Magnet School in New Haven on Monday. The school, which has students from Pre-K to eighth grade, sent home a letter to parents Monday informing them of the incident.

Police were not initially notified, and the Board of Education told officers that school security is conducting the investigation, as they found no weapon, or evidence to connect the bullets to any particular individual.

No further information was immediately made available.
