Glastonbury gubernatorial candidate reaches $250K in campaign contributions; can qualify for grant

(WTNH)– There’s a new fundraising leader among Republicans for the 2018 gubernatorial race.

State representative Dr. Prasad Srinivasan of Glastonbury has eclipsed the $250,000 threshold. That number is key because it qualifies him for a citizen’s election program grant.

According to Srinivasan’s campaign, no other candidate has reached the $250,000 mark this early in the campaign.

“I am proud of the support we have behind our campaign,” said Representative Srinivasan. “Having reached over $250,000, we will have the resources needed to run a strong and efficient campaign. Our state faces many challenges, but I know that working together we can revive Connecticut and make it prosper once again.”
