Hollywood Minute: Jared Leto to Play Hugh Hefner on the ‘Big Screen’

(CNN) — Flowers have been placed at Tom Petty’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, following his passing at the age of 66. Tributes to Petty on social media have come from fans and his music industry peers, including Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Sir Paul McCartney. Petty’s Traveling Wilburys band mate Jeff Lynne tweeted “Tom Petty was the coolest guy I ever knew.”

Casting news! The Hollywood Reporter says Jared Leto will portray playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner in a biopic directed by Brett Ratner. Hefner passed away at the age of 91 on September 27, but the movie has been in development since 2007, according to the ‘Reporter.’

The bear and the brown family set out to find the thief. “Paddington Two” slides into theaters January 12, 2018.
