Four people injured in a fire in Waterbury

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Fire officials say that four people have been injured after a fire in Waterbury on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 12:56 a.m. on Wednesday, Waterbury Firefighters were dispatched to 38 Mitchell Avenue on reports of a fire.

The fire was reported to be on the second floor of a three and a half story residence.

Officials say that four people were brought to the hospital for evaluation, two of which were burn victims.

A total of three people were displaced and the fire remains under investigation.
