Middletown students take a stand against bullying

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH)- The city of Middletown is taking a standing together against bullying in the community.

“Really the whole idea was to make a difference in the lives of kids today,” said the director of the event.

The Community Foundation of Middlesex County held their fourth rally Thursday, bringing more than 400 kids together from different schools.

The idea of the event is to have the students build self-confidence, friends and work on leadership. There are activities planned throughout the day.
