Arrest made in death of baby found in Harwinton reservoir

HARWINTON, Conn. (WTNH)–An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a baby who was found in a bag at a Harwinton reservoir back in March.

22-year-old Benhamin Edgerly of Bristol is facing conspiracy charges, and ill disposal of a dead body. The two-week-old baby boy was found in a bag by Bristol Water Department workers back in March. The Bristol Water Department maintains the reservoir there.

The baby’s mother is cooperating with police.

Edgerly is being held on $100,000 bond.
