More well above average temperatures, and more humidity as we head through the holiday weekend. Our average high temps should be nearing 65 degrees this time of the year, but it will feel a lot more like August than October over the coming days.
High temps this weekend will be in the 70s at the shore, above 80 expected inland.
Mugginess will also get more noticeable heading into Sunday where we are also expecting a hit or miss showers for the morning. The coverage of these showers may not be widespread, but downpours are expected. After that, Hurricane Nate will move through Connecticut, but at that point it will just be a good heavy rain day with a breeze on Monday before moving out and bringing us some more seasonable air for much of next week.
Today: Lots of clouds at times, but some sun expected too! Highs in the mid 70s to low 80s.
Sunday: Scattered morning showers/downpours with a bit of clearing late. It will still be cloudy for most of the day with a stiff breeze. Highs in the mid 70s.
Tuesday: Clouds give way to a bit of sunshine with warm temps. Highs are expected to be near 80 for one final day!
Wednesday: More sunshine and seasonable temps in the mid-upper 60s.
Thursday: Clear and cool with highs in the mid 60s at the shore, upper 50s inland.
Friday: Showers with highs in the upper 60s.
