Capitol Report: Governor Malloy believes budget deal is “hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars apart”

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Despite a new deadline of Oct. 13 for a new state budget quickly approaching, the Governor believes a new deal is still far from being done.

Governor Malloy stated, “I would honestly say were are hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars apart. And so I want there to be an agreement by next Friday…There’d have to be a lot of movement on this situation.”
