(WTNH)– Black Friday shopping has increasingly been moving into Thanksgiving Day, but last year the trend seemed to reverse.

Bestblackfriday.com has a list of more than 75 retailers who will not be opening on the holiday. Among them Home Depot, Ikea, Neiman Marcus, Tj Maxx and Marshall’s, as well as wholesale clubs BJs and Costco.

A recent online survey from bestblackfriday.com found that 57 percent of people disliked the idea of stores opening on the holiday, with just 16 percent of respondents thinking of Thanksgiving openings favorably.
