WINDHAM, Conn. (WTNH) — A woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after a vehicle struck her in Windham on Sunday night.
According to Connecticut State Police, the woman, who has not been identified, was either walking in the roadway or crossing the roadway on Route 32 when she was struck by a vehicle.
Police say the woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Officials describe the victim as a middle-aged white female with short blonde hair who was wearing flannel pants. She was also carrying a dark purple and black jacket and was wearing black sneakers.

Authorities say no one in the vehicle suffered any injuries.
