OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WTNH) — An Old Saybrook man is pleading guilty to skipping out on nearly $5 million in back taxes.
56-year-old David Adams of Old Saybrook entered a guilty plea on Tuesday just as his tax evasion trial was about to begin.
For a nearly 20-year stretch, Adams hired an accountant to do his tax returns, but didn’t tell him about all of his income.
