There is a traffic map online to help you find the easiest route to the marathon as well as around it, depending on your destination.

“We have that all detailed out,” Shluger explained. “We have every direction you are trying to go in detailed out and how to do it, you just have to pay attention.”
It is really important to look at the map because already they are starting to close down roads around Bushnell Park. They are going to be closing these sites off so they can get the dumpsters in the dump trucks in here for security. They say you want to check the map and look at it ahead of time because things are always changing and moving around. You don’t want to be stuck with your car behind the line.
I’m a little bit familiar with the course,” said Brenda Davila. “…I haven’t tried it but I feel comfortable.”
There have also been monthly security meetings with more than 60 police and first responders on a task force that meets in the command center in Hartford. They are ready as tens of thousands of people are expected to run or watch on Saturday.
