17-year-old struck by school bus in Meriden

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH)–A 17-year-old high school student in Meriden was struck by a school bus on Friday afternoon.

It happened while the teen was riding a skateboard across a crosswalk on Coe Avenue at around 2:30 p.m., according to police. The student suffered non-life threatening injuries, but since it was a head injury, Life Star was called to transport them to Hartford Hospital.

Police are looking at video to assist in their investigation.
