Fire breaks out at vacant Hartford factory

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Hartford firefighters are investigating a fire at an old factory building Friday morning.

The fire broke out at around 2 a.m at an old manufacturing facility near the corner of Kent Street and Albany Avenue.

Fire officials say there were no reports of injuries and that the building was vacant.

The road was closed as firefighters knocked down the blaze but has since been reopened to traffic.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
