PD: Hamden man threatens girlfriend with gun

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH)– A 30-year-old Hamden man was arrested after allegedly displaying a gun during a domestic dispute on Sunday morning.

Police say at around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to 143 Franklin Road where a female victim told them that her live-in boyfriend, Harold Cole, “pushed her head against the wall.” Cole also allegedly threatened to shoot her if she left him.

The victim told police that she subsequently left their home in her car but Cole then pulled alongside of her in his car and displayed a firearm. The victim fled the area.

Police say shortly later, Cole arrived at police headquarters where he was arrested and charged with threatening and disorderly conduct. He will appear in court Monday.
