Bristol Police searching for liquor store robbery suspect

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — Bristol Police are searching for the man who they say robbed a liquor store on Sunday morning.

According to police, a man entered Marty’s Package Store just after 10 a.m. and threatened the clerk with a knife while demanding money. Officials say the clerk complied and was not injured.

Officers describe the suspect as a white man in his late 20’s or early 30’s who stands approximately 5’7″ – 6′ tall. He was wearing a blue fleece sweatshirt, khaki pants, brown boots, black gloves and a grey knit hat.

Officials say he was last seen fleeing on foot toward South Street.
