HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Hamden police are investigating credit card charges after a man’s wallet was stolen from a local supermarket earlier this month.
According to Hamden police, the victim, a 71-year-old man, was shopping at a local supermarket when he discovered his wallet had been stolen. The victim informed officers that his wallet contained several credit cards.
An investigation revealed that the stolen credit cards have been used at several businesses around Hamden and New Haven. Police say the credit cards have been used to purchase different items totaling over 650 dollars.
Officers describe the suspects as a white man and two white women. All suspects are believed to be in their mid 30s.
