I-95 Northbound reopens in Bridgeport after accident involving multiple tractor trailers

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Interstate 95 Northbound has reopened in Bridgeport after a crash involving multiple tractor trailers closed the highway early Wednesday morning.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation,  I-95 North was closed between Exits 28 and 29 after a tractor trailer accident took place just before 1:30 a.m.

The crash took several hours to clear but all lanes are now open.

It is not known if anyone suffered any injuries. The cause of the crash is also unclear.
