Suspects sought in armed robbery of Bristol liquor store

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH)– Police are looking for the two men who allegedly robbed a Bristol liquor store at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

Police say they are investigating after Burlington Avenue Wine and Spirits, at 152 Burlington Avenue, was robbed of cash at gunpoint by two suspects just before 8 p.m.

No one was injured in the robbery. The two suspects fled the scene on foot on Lewis Street.

Police describe one of the suspects as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and red, white and black sneakers.

The other suspect was described as a light-skinned black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black and white sneakers.

Anyone with information on the robbery is urged to contact Bristol Police at 860-584-3011.
