2 men sought in armed robbery of Plymouth Package Store

PLYMOUTH, Conn. (WTNH)– Police are looking for the two men who robbed a Plymouth liquor store at gunpoint on Thursday night.

Police say just before 9 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at The Plymouth Package Store, at 166 South Riverside Avenue.

Two men entered the store displaying handguns, before leaving with an unknown amount of cash and several bottles of liquors. They then fled on foot.

Police describe one suspect as a 6’4″ tall, black male who was wearing a black hooded jacket with two white stripes going down the arms, black prescription glasses and jeans.

The other suspect was described as a 5’8″ tall, light skinned black or Hispanic male.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is urged to contact Plymouth Police at 860-589-7779.
