Berlin Police investigate fatal motorcycle crash

BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) — One person has died after a motorcycle crash in Berlin Saturday evening.

According to authorities the fatal accident occurred at 6:27 p.m. on Southington Road in Berlin.

Berlin police did close Southington Road for a period of time, however it has reopened.

Police say the motorcycle was traveling east when it appears that the driver had lost control.

Authorities are not releasing the victim’s identity until the next of kin is notified.

The Berlin Police Department says that anyone with information about this accident is asked to contact police at 860-828-7080.
