Suspects sought in fatal crash on Arrigoni Bridge in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH)– The Arrigoni Bridge in Middletown has reopened following a fatal accident Saturday night.

According to Middletown Police, a crash on the Arrigoni Bridge caused the bridge to shut down.

Officials believe two vehicles were racing each other when one struck a scooter being operated by 22-year-old Daquan Moore. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the vehicle that struck the scooter is believed to be a late model Audi sedan either off white or beige in color.

The bridge was reopened on Sunday morning.
