Capitol Report: Governor Malloy signs budget deal

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — After 123 days, Governor Dannel Malloy finally put his signature on the bipartisan state budget deal on Halloween.

In what was perhaps the loneliest-looking budget signing ceremony in Connecticut history, Gov. Malloy put his “John Hancock” on a two-year $41.3 billion deal.

This was a deal he had no part of putting together as he was shut out of negotiations.
