15-year-old struck by car while riding bike in West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — West Hartford police are conducting their investigation after a 15-year-old on a bicycle was struck by a motorist Tuesday morning.

Around 8:50 a.m., West Hartford officers responded to the intersection of Hall and Federal Streets on a report that a person had been struck. Officers located the bicyclist, who was transported to a hospital for head trauma treatment. Officials say the injuries are serious.
