Study looks at fittest and most overweight U.S. states

(WTNH) — The rise in obesity rates continues to be a problem across the nation.

A new study looks at the fittest and most overweight states in the nation.

Analysts from WalletHub looked at the prevalence of obese and overweight adults and teens. Obesity-related health issues such as high cholesterol and diabetes, food and fitness were also looked at.

The most fit state in the nation is Colorado, followed by Massachusetts and Utah. Connecticut ranks 6th on the list.

In last place was Mississippi.
