(WTNH)–The state childcare subsidy program, ‘Care 4 Kids,’ is once again accepting applicants who had been wait-listed.

Acceptances were on hold due to the state budget stalemate, but starting on Wednesday, families who registered on the wait list will begin to receive requests to apply for placement in phases.

Enrollment will begin with the highest-need families, and families who have been on the wait list the longest.
