One arrested in East Hampton drug bust

EAST HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) — An East Hampton man is facing charges, accused of running a drug factory out of his home.

Police searched Michael Philhowe’s home on Lakeview Street on Tuesday night.

Officials say they found around 40 potted marijuana plants, more than a pound of processed marijuana and other drugs in Philhowe’s home.

According to police, they also discovered watering systems, grow lamps, growing tents and plant-drying equipment.

The 28-year-old is facing multiple drug charges.
