3 fishermen rescued off Gloucester coast after boat ran aground

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (WTNH)–Three Massachusetts fishermen were rescued on Thursday after their boat ran aground off the coast of Gloucester. The boat was seen on some rocks near the Eastern Point Lighthouse.

The U.S. Coast Guard safely rescued those on board, and none of them were injured.

It was not immediately clear what caused the boat to end up on the rocks. The boat was in the process of being removed on Thursday afternoon.
