EAST GRANBY, Conn. (WTNH)– A father, daughter duo were arrested Wednesday after an armed robbery at an East Granby convenience store.

State Police say at around 2:15 p.m., troopers responded to NH Deli and Grocery convenience store, at 95 Spoonville Road, where the clerk said she had been robbed by a man with knife.  The man and an unknown woman then left the store in a dark colored pickup truck.

A broadcast of the information was relayed to troopers in surrounding towns, which resulted in a black pickup truck being pulled over in Bloomfield.

The suspects were then identified as 50-year-old Thomas Phillips and 24-year-old Alisha Marie Phillips, both of Enfield.

Thomas was charged with criminal mischief, larceny, robbery and reckless endangerment. Alisha was charged with criminal attempt/robbery and interfering with an officer. Both were each held on a $50,000 bond.

The robbery remains under investigation.
