Much of Puerto Rico loses power once again

(WTNH) — A stunning setback in the effort to restore power in Puerto Rico.

A major power line failed on Wednesday morning and plunged 80% of the island back into darkness.

There is no word on what caused the line to fail.

The brute force of Hurricane Maria made landfall back in September and knocked out power on the island.

Officials have not said when they expect power to be restored across the U.S. territory.
