Capitol Report: Chief Capitol Correspondent Mark Davis talks election results

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — It is a tale of two parties with the 2017 Municipal Election.

The state’s Democrats made large gains, flipping control of either the mayor, first selectman, or town governing bodies away from Republicans in 22 Connecticut communities.

Republicans were only able to swap six communities from Democrat to Republican.
