Introducing Ethan Allen’s New Collection: Passport

DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Since 1932, Ethan Allen has been transforming homes with their iconic furniture and accents. Their newest collection, Passport, is a ticket to the world’s most exotic destinations. With this diverse collection, you can indulge your adventurous side without ever leaving the comfort of your home.

“Passport is about transcending borders,” said Ethan Allen Design Consultant Mark Audley. “It’s about taking pieces from all over the world and incorporating them into your life.”

Inspired by the rich tapestry of cultures from around the globe, the Passport collection features everything you need to outfit your home.

“There’s product for every space in your home, which I love, and there are pieces that you can put in different areas,” Audley explained. “We’ve got a gorgeous tall bookcase that could be used in a dining room as China. It could be used in a family room as a bookcase, or in a foyer as that statement piece that houses collections from around the world.

“For instance we have a new liquor cabinet,” said Ethan Allen Design Consultant Nicholas Marino. “We have beautiful storage and display cabinets. We have brand new bedroom furniture. My favorite would be the Bombay chest. I happen to love them very much and I think it’s just a cool look.”

“My favorite thing about the Passport collection are the rich textures, the way that the pieces meld together, that most people might not expect,” Audley added.

Passport is exotic, yet warm, creating an inviting space.

“Ethan Allen launched Passport because our clients are telling us more and more every day that they want to live in their rooms,” Marino said. “They want to feel comfortable in their homes.”

Passport draws from the looks of both the past and present as well as near and far.

“It is an eclectic collection,” Audley explained. “It brings pieces that you wouldn’t expect from Asia, the West Indies, Africa — many different places together to create a warm traveled feel.”

As the saying goes, life is about experience….

“So let’s experience it in our home as well,” Audley said.
