Bedroom Connection: Styling Children and Teen Bedrooms

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — We are joined by Mark Fichandler, owner of Bedroom Connection, with some tips on styling bedrooms for children and teens.

Here are some helpful tips:

-Space saving with furniture that has great storage. For example, they have some bunks with stairs instead of ladders for additional storage under the stairs as well as making it easy for the little ones to go up and down the stairs! Also can save space by modern, flexible furniture that can act as functional storage
– Furniture that grows as your child does. Furniture can start as a bigger piece and you can move/separate parts as they grow for desk space and more room for older children.
-Bedroom trends- what we are seeing is trending.. fun princess sets, mermaid themed rooms. sports themes and fun customization head boards (can have their name on their headboard!) that are unisex.

There are so many fun and creative designs at Bedroom Connection!
