Report-It Recap: December 8, 2017

(WTNH)– It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Many of you are decking the halls to get into the holiday spirit. While others are enjoying some sweet gingerbread treats.

Tis the season to light up our homes. And it seems the vast majority of them are shining bright. Some of you are not sparing any expense when it comes to all those decorations

But it’s not just the outside, the inside is decked out as well. Take a look at all these Christmas trees in the video above.

Some are small. Others quite large. There’s even one that is upside down. So many different colors, styles and ornaments. It’s safe to safe no one tree is the same.

There’s a beautiful shot on the green in Cheshire.

One cat likes to hide out in the tree, which could be problematic.

Most people deck the halls. In Middletown, someone decided to deck the porta-potty instead.

At Julia’s Bakery in Orange, you can view a 14-foot long gingerbread house. Those of you sending in pictures say the detail is unbelievable.

All the kids out there are getting ready for the holiday season. And those visits from Santa. For some, it’s their first time, while others have been at it for a while. A true joy to experience this time of year through their eyes.

And we can’t forget about our pets.

Finally, there were quite a few shots from the supermoon last weekend.

Keep those pictures coming.
