How to keep heating costs down

(WTNH) — Experts say there are some things you can do to keep your heating costs down this winter.

Setting ceiling fans to a clockwise rotation on a low setting can help push warm air down.

Another tip is swapping out your old light bulbs for newer LED lights.

Adding moisture inside your house with a humidifier helps you maintain heat longer.

Also, keeping curtains and blinds closed will help insulate your windows.
