Capitol Report ‘After Hours:’ Legalizing recreational marijuana

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — This week on Capitol Report “After Hours,” the panel talks about the legalization of recreational marijuana.

There is a high demand for medical marijuana in Connecticut as the Department of Consumer Protection is soliciting applications for three new licenses for dispensaries.

Currently, Connecticut has more than 22,000 medical marijuana patients.

Sam Tracy, Director of the Connecticut Coalition to Regulate Marijuana, joined the panel for this discussion.
