Capitol Report: Ganim officially running for governor

(WTNH) — What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. Just ask Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim.

After spending time in prison on political corruption charges, Bridgeport voters made him mayor again.

Last week, the Democrat filed his official paperwork to run for governor.

Also, State Treasurer Denise Nappier decided that she will not seek a sixth term in office. She is the latest high-ranking Democrat to not seek reelection.
