Ansonia man charged for Shelton burglaries

SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH) — An Ansonia man is facing charges for his alleged connection to two burglaries in Shelton last fall.

According to police, 28-year-old Andre Genest was involved in two burglaries which took place in August and September of 2017.

Shelton Police arrested Genest at Derby Superior Court on Wednesday where he was due for an unrelated matter.

Genest is currently in police custody and is being held on a $15,000 bond. He faces charges of burglary and larceny for the alleged crimes.
