Firefighter injured in Hartford fire

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– An investigation is underway into what caused a house fire in Hartford then left one firefighter injured on Thursday night.

Fire officials say the blaze broke out in a two family home on Litchfield Street.

Everyone inside the home made it out safely but a firefighter on the scene was taken to the hospital. The firefighter is expected to be OK.

The two families have been displaced because the home was heavily damaged.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
