North Haven Police search for man wanted in 2016 assault

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– North Haven Police are looking for a man who is wanted for allegedly striking a woman in the face with a pipe in 2016.

Police say they are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 55-year-old Sterling Hubbard. Hubbard is wanted for allegedly striking a woman in her face with a 12″ long pipe in 2016.

Officers say Hubbard has evaded them ever since.

Police describe Hubbard as being 5’7″ tall with brown eyes. His last known address was on University Place in New Haven and he was last known to drive a black, 2000 GMV Yukon with Pennsylvania registration.

Hubbard is wanted for the charges of assault, violation of protective order, threatening and breach of peace.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact North Haven Police.
