(CNN) — Charlize Theron fans are getting first look at her new flick ‘Tully.’ The Hollywood starlet plays a frazzled mother of three who receives an unusual gift: a night nanny, played by Mackenzie Davis. The comedy opens April 20.

Triskaidekaphobes, beware. The film ‘Truth or Dare’ was scheduled to hit theaters April 27, but Universal has moved up the release of the supernatural thriller by two weeks. It will now be release accordingly in April on Friday the 13th.

Golden Globe winner Guillermo Del Toro leads a field of mostly first-time nominees for the Directors Guild of America’s top honor: Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film. ‘The Shape of Water’ director is joined by ‘Lady Bird’ director Greta Gerwig, the first female nominee in five years; Martin McDonagh, for ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri;’ ‘Dunkirk’ director Christopher Nolan, the only previous nominee on this year’s list; and ‘Get Out’ director Jordan Peele, who’s also nominated in the first-time feature film category. The winners will be announced February 3.
