Norwalk Police search for man wanted for making fraudulent purchases

NORWALK, Conn.(WTNH)– Norwalk Police are looking for the man who allegedly made thousands of dollar worth of fraudulent purchases of jewelry and handbags back in October.

Police say on October 19th, a man made several thousands of dollars worth of fraudulent purchases of jewelry and purses at the Trumbull Mall and Saks Fifth Avenue in Greenwich. The suspect allegedly used the victim’s store credit cards by having the sales associates look up the accounts using the victim’s personal information.

The suspect also opened several other store credit cards in the victim’s name.

Norwalk Police released surveillance photos of the suspect.

Police ask anyone who can identify the man or anyone who has any information on the incidents to contact them at (203) 854-3190.
